ASIS Chicago utilizes a variety of forums, resources, and events to enhance the experiences of its members. Benefits of membership include:

• Discounted member pricing to the Chapter’s Monthly networking and training luncheon.  Registration includes lunch and a timely presentation provided by local and national security experts.
  
  
• The chapter often partners with other Chicago-based organizations to hold joint events or to promote security-focused events that members will find useful in the advancing of their skills and careers. Perhaps one of the most popular ASIS Chicago events is the annual ASIS Chicago Chapter Golf Outing.  This annual golf outing serves as a way for chapter members to connect over the summer months while also supporting the chapter’s donations, sponsorships, and membership growth.

• The Chapter promotes a mentorship program within our community and to ensure the standard of excellence for which our profession is known.  The goal of our mentorship program is to foster mentoring relationships between security professionals through which advice is shared with those aspiring to enhance their careers, advance within or transition to the security industry.
  
  
• Publication of a monthly newsletter that provides articles of common interest and ensures members stay up to date on the latest Chapter announcements and events.

• Apart from local events, ASIS Chicago strives to ensure members stay connected nationally.  This is accomplished through the promotion of ASIS International events & webinars, as well as by supporting the annual ASIS International Global Security Exchange (GSX), the top security conference in the world.
